Geometry, at its core, is about the interaction of shapes. This comprehensive overview of plane and solid Geometry will investigate patterns of shapes, the development of rules and equations for various figures, and the deductive process of Euclidean proofs. By studying Geometry, students will continue to refine their problem-solving skills, with a greater focus on explaining their logical reasoning. This college preparatory class meets year two of the UC/CSU three-year mathematics requirement, as well as satisfying a year of Pajaro Valley High’s graduation requirement for mathematics.
