Title:   Algebra II                  Course#:  2610                                   Number of Credits:  10

In Algebra 1 students developed an understanding of the symbolic language and algebraic reasoning used in the study of mathematics. In Algebra 2 students will continue to refine their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, exploring linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, rational, and trigonometric functions. Algebra 2 places a greater emphasis on identifying and justifying solutions to systems of equations, including solutions involving the complex number system. This course satisfies the California Algebra high school graduation requirement and meets UC/CSU A-G college entrance requirements.
