This course is an introduction to the study of probability, interpretation of data, and fundamental statistical problem solving. Mastery of this academic content will provide students with a solid foundation in processing statistical information. At its most basic, statisticians follow a three-step process. First, they gather data, then they organize the data, and finally they analyze the data. Statisticians must also effectively communicate their results and analysis. This college preparatory class fulfills CSU/UC A-G requirements, as well as satisfying a year of Pajaro Valley High’s graduation requirement for mathematics.
