This class is designed to give students the ability to use advanced features of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, and graphic arts applications, and to apply presentation and thinking skills to all their other classes.  Students will use the Internet to research various topics to create documents such as reports, business letters, brochures, newsletters, tables, spreadsheets, charts, and job search documents including a resume.  Emphasis is placed on the production of “professional, error-free documents,” language and writing skills development, and appropriate communication skills for the workplace.  Projects are integrated with the expected school wide learning results with emphasis on environmental topics and issues in order to enhance overall academic achievement for the student.
