Students will learn the fundamental knowledge of computer programming for solving problems. Topics covered include using various programming language (focussing primarily on Python), literals, looping, control structures, data structures, object oriented concepts, algorithms, testing, debugging and problem solving. 
Students will have hands-on experience programming robots and other computing devices. 
 
This class has an articulation agreement with Cabrillo College (eligible to petition for CIS-15, 3 units with a grade of "B"  or better in class and teacher recommendation
