Beginning Band
Course Description:
Students will learn an instrument used in the band setting and learn basic skills that will prepare them for concert band and wind ensemble. These instruments include Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, and percussion. In addition to instrumental proficiency, students will learn how to read and write music and other ensemble skills. This course will have one performance in May, showcasing all the skills that they have developed throughout the year.
