This course covers aerodynamics, astronautics, space-life sciences, and systems engineering through hands-on projects. It includes instruction and experiential learning opportunities in mechanical systems. Students work with a variety of manufacturing materials, use precision measurement tools, read blueprints, and gain an understanding of the field of aerospace engineering and other manufacturing careers. Students will acquire workplace assets including leadership, problem-solving, teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills that will prepare them for higher education and support their preparation for careers in engineering fields.
