Title: Math 1 Number of Credits: 10
Grade: 9
Math 1 focuses on the study of numbers, functions, geometry, statistics, and symbolic algebra. Students will be developing powerful mathematics tools and learning new ways of thinking about and investigating situations. Students will be making connections, discovering relationships, figuring out what strategies can be used to solve problems, and explaining their thinking. In meeting the challenges of this course, students will also cooperate with other students as a member of study teams. All units address the California Common Core State Standards in Mathematics.
