Pajaro Valley High School

Physical Education 1 is the required physical education course for ninth-grade students.  The course emphasizes the introduction and exploration of a variety of physical education activities.  Within each of these activities, the basic components of optimum personal fitness are introduced and developed. The health high school graduation requirement is embedded in our PE 1 curriculum and the course features the most up to date health information that encompasses physical, emotional, mental, and social health.  Instructors encourage students to become actively involved in their own health education.
