Title: Federal Government Number of Credits: 10
This course is designed to prepare students to understand and participate in their government. Students will be presented with the origins of American political values and institutions; the structure and function of American government; and the participation of individual citizens in the process of government. This course is viewed as the culmination of the civic literacy strand that prepares students to vote and reflect on the responsibilities of citizenship, and to participate in community activities.
