Title: Ceramics Number of Credits: 10
This course offers a continuation of art theory and application focusing on 3-D sculptural design through clay and mixed media. Assignments are based on the five content standards of the visual arts. Students will learn basic construction techniques to build original and increasingly complex forms. Historical and cultural examples will be studied, as well as visual arts vocabulary to discuss and critique artwork.
