Title: Theater Arts 1 Number of Credits: 10
Beginning drama develops an individual’s confidence, poise, and awareness of self and others through participation in various forms of dramatic experience including improvisation, character development, pantomime, and scene work. Students deepen their appreciation of theater by studying the history and development of drama and interpreting individual scripts. They also learn to recognize the parts of the physical stage and basic acting skills such as stage movement and vocal expression. The course may be repeated for credit.
